Intimate candlelit dinners in the granary loft
Above the old granary, under beams blackened by a century of lantern light, the Candlelit Loft seats 150 guests at long tables dressed in hundreds of candles. It is the coziest room on the farm — and the most requested for fall weddings.
Dinners here are family-style by design: shared platters, carving stations and pies from the orchard. A fiddler on the stairs, toasts under the beams, and dancing in the threshing bay below make the night.

Yes — discreet heating keeps the loft at 68°F even in January, and the candlelight does the rest. December weddings here are pure magic.
Absolutely. Our kitchen plates dietary needs separately and serves them first, while the shared platters adapt — just send counts two weeks out.
Cocktail hour pours in the threshing bay below (or the orchard in good weather) while the loft is dressed for dinner.
